On Thursday 15th October, we attended The UK Social Media Communications Awards after being nominated for two awards.

Our Davina Facebook fitness campaign called ‘Davina’s Lucky 7’ featured seven real women and their online journey to fitness and we’re pleased to announce won the ‘Best use of Facebook’ category at the UK Social Media Communications Awards.


We created the campaign to support the launch of Davina’s new online fitness & nutrition subscription service called GetFitwithDavina.com. The campaign featured a crowd-sourced competition to find seven real women who were tasked with using the site to get fit over a 5-week period, whilst sharing weekly videos, diarising their fitness journeys via Facebook.

Davina McCall said: “These seven extraordinary ladies were so amazing to work with, each with their own inspiring reasons for wanting to ‘Get Fit With Davina’… I was so proud to be able to share their stories online. Well done to them and the Spirit Media team who devised and captured all of the content – keep going team!!”.”

The campaign generated more than 500,000 videos views and reached a total of more than 1.3 Million people. It also drove sizable traffic to the Get Fit with Davina site, with 15,000 social media referrals and 4,000 site subscriptions.
